But many of the ignorant and right wing extremist would probably disagree with you, since they think it is better to terrorize our nation more by knocking on every Hispanic's door and asking for their documentation... of course this doesn't apply to any of the European illegal immigrants. I suggest that we adopt the immigration laws of Mexico, a beloved country by millions. Few should complain about the known and proven laws, military on the southern border, no anchor babies, and illegals will have to pay for all the finanical damages they incurred before being deported. Mexico also has an excellent guest worker program with tough permit approval processes. Mexico has rights to revoke any permit and deport a guest worker at any time. Guest workers are just that 'Guest' and should not be given incentives to bring familes or buy properties. We can copy the laws and implemented them right away without any political debates. If it works in Mexico, it will work here. Afterall, most of the illegals are already familiar with these laws. Guest workers quota should be established just like immigration quota. Those who have violated US laws will not be eligible to apply. This will give those law abiding workers waiting outside the country a fair chance to come in and work legally. It is the greedy employers and the government's fault that we have the problems today. It is also the fault of Mexico government and those who chose to violate our laws. Millions of Americans have been fighting this problems for years, we will not accept any blames or any liabilities. These people knew what they were getting themselves into in the first place, it is 100% their own fault. This makes good sense in a perfect world where everyone is honest and every politician, law enforcement, INS worker will do their jobs right.

That is the sad commentary of today's politicians. The recommendations in this article all make good sense to me and could give us a resolution to these problems.
