Happy New Year 2009
As we reach the end of another year – and what a year it was – we want to wish all of you who have visited our website a Happy New Year. While things might not appear to give us much reason to think that it will be a happy new year, it does not mean that we should just give up and not even continue the tradition of making this year-end statement. It will most certainly be a very exciting year with the change of Presidents on January 20 and the overall economic and financial situations, there is most definitely a great amount of unease and reason for concerns and worries by millions of people.
For us here at considercommonsense.com, we will make a change in that we will shift focus to a different type of readership, we want to start a dialogue with the younger generation attending college or just entering the workforce and having the bulk of their lives ahead of them. The next article should reflect this change and we look forward to it. The major reason for this is that we feel that these younger learners do not truly get the truths when it comes to all sorts of issues. While they read the papers and listen to television news, they only get what is being dished out by the media and therefore stay either mis- or uninformed about what is really going on. We will try to fill this gap and take this on with all the enthusiasm we can muster.
Time will tell whether or not we will succeed but we will do our best to do just that. With that, we end this year with the title of this article: Happy New Year 2009
